Relay for Life Runza Night

Teens for Life fund raiser

The HS Teens for Life will be hosting a Pizza Hut night from 5:00-8:00 at
the South Burlington location on Monday, March 22. Pizza Hut will donate 15%
and all tips will go to the organization. Funds raised will be given to
Catholic Social Services for support of the earthquake victims in Haiti.

Drivers ed info

As of today drivers ed is full. Classes are on Weds nights and Sat
mornings.Dates are April 7, 10, 14, 17, 21, 24, 28, Wed- 6-9pm and Sat 9-12
in the high school. Cost is $280 and is due on or before classes start. Make
checks payable to Nebraska Safety Council. Any question call Jamie at
school. Thank You!

Dance Team at State Cheer and Dance Championships

The STC Hawkettes Dance Team participated in the 3rd annual Nebraska State Cheer and Dance Championships held at the Heartland Events Center in Grand Island.

The Hawkettes performed a Jazz Routine to Circus (choreographed by Nicole Mitchell and Chelsea Lau) and a Pom Routine to Run the Show (choreographed by Nicole Mitchell).

Hawkettes Dance Team Auditions - 2010-2011

HAWKETTES DANCE TEAM AUDITIONS

Mandatory Student/Parent Meeting:
4:00 PM Sunday, February 28, Room M201
Mrs. Adrian will outline dance team expectations, go over the requirements and sign paperwork.  Mrs. Adrian MUST meet with a parent face-to-face before a student can audition.

Audition Clinic:
6:30 AM Monday-Wednesday, March 1 - March 3
AND
6:30 AM Monday-Wednesday March 8 - March 10

Auditions:
5:30 PM Wednesday, March 10

Students in grades 8-11 are invited to audition for the 2010-2011 STC Hawkettes Dance Team.  Students will attend 6 morning practices during the Audition Clinic to learn the audition dance.  Auditions will consist of student applications, adult recommendations, and performing the audition dance before three judges from the UNK Dance Squad.

Teens for Life blood drive

The HS Teens for Life are sponsoring a Red Cross blood drive on Monday,
March 1st in the east gym. Appointments are scheduled every 15 minutes
beginning at 8:30 and concluding at 1:45. (The 8:30 and 9:15 appointment
times are currently full.) If you would like to donate at our drive,
please email a time to me and I will try to honor your request. It takes
approximately an hour to go through the donation process.
